Kitsap Mountaineers Climbing Meetup Group
Kitsap Mountaineers focus on courses that teach participants to climb. We put together trips that allow practice of skills and achievement of significant mountaineering objectives. Students in classes earn certification to join in on mountaineering trips. Individuals with prior experience can come as a guest up to twice before being required to be a member. We also learn and share leadership skills. If we want others to go along and support our trips or just have someone to go with us, we need to lead them first to support their skill development and judgment.

Set in historic Port Gamble, the races are sure to please those seeking a fun, rugged alternative to the road.
